| Today the HYSUN3000 left Petten and went on back to Germany with its next stop in Cologne. The distance today was 336km and the hydrogen consumption on the way was 105g per 100 kilometers. In Cologne the HYSUN3000 passed successful the first 1000 kilometers and thus more than a third of the whole tour without severe complication. The current results and the reliable tour programm show our realistic target. These results set already milestones in the fuel cell technology: a vehicle with such a technology has never passed a distance of 1000 kilometers before. The press conference in Cologne took place in the Historic Town Hall. Holger Hütz from TÜV Rheinland said in his statement that the HYSUN and its record tour will represent new benchmarks for sustainable automotive technology. Mayor Angela Spitzig emphasized particularly the high engagement of the HYSUN-Team. This should be a challenge for the industry in order to promote innovative technologies. |
